Me and my family went to Arctic Circle.
They gave me a doggy treat for my dog.
It was awesome.
Now he wants to go with us every time we go....
ruff you later.
A word from my mom.
The reason for our family outing to Arctic Circle, is so that Noah can get a brown topper. A brown topper is a soft ice cream cone dipped in a coat of chocolate that hardens. The routine is the same. The woman at the window will hand the ice cream off to Noah's father, Rick. He will then hand the cone to Noah. Da Vinci's eyes will remain fixated on that cone. He will snap his mouth between each transfer hoping for a taste of the "human's treats." Noah and Rick are always very careful. Tonight though, the pattern changed. The girl at the window was observing Da Vinci's smacking lips and asked, "Does your dog want an ice cream cone?" She already knew the answer to her question...she was just asking for our permission. Over to the ice cream machine she went. Clearly she had been aware of Da Vinci's size for the mountain of ice cream she had put on that cone. She handed the cone over to Noah's dad. He paused as if to warn her not to blink as he said, "watch this..." Now all our eyes were fixated on Da Vinci and that ice cream cone. As soon as Rick exclaimed, "okay!" Da Vinci snarffed that huge cone in one bite... We're not sure there was even a bite. It just disappeared. We did not know if he even tasted the flavor of the ice cream before he swallowed it. That massive swirl of vanilla ice cream atop a cone was devoured in microseconds. He licked his lips and waited...for praise...for another cone. We laughed instead. MMMMMmmmmm....I wonder, "Do dogs get a brain freeze?"
